Welcome to the Sierra Cares Animal Advocates web site! We are a nonprofit (501-c-3) no kill domestic animal rescue and placement group serving the Central Sierra Nevada and Southern Yosemite mountain area, specifically North Fork, Oakhurst, Coarsegold, and Ahwahnee, California as well as the surrounding areas.

We hold an adoption event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month in the parking lot of the Sierra Star Newspaper, located in Oakhurst, California.

Our mission statement is simple:
To improve the lives of companion animals in Madera county.
