Sylvester thinks he is a lap dog. He cuddles and nudges and knows you enjoy his licking your face. This five-month-old, sleek, black, part Lab, part Rottweiler-Mastiff doesn’t know that he is going to get pretty big. So he plays and jumps up, his paws on your shoulders, his tail wagging. With his docile temperament and sweet personality, he would never think of nipping.
Sylvester is a happy puppy, and smart too, but when you look into his alert almond-shaped eyes, there’s a bit of sadness there. Maybe he’s worried that no one will want to take him home where he can become part of a loving family.
